Investopedia’s latest special edition print magazine outlines 10 core investing principles to help build and maintain a portfolio that can ride market waves, grow wealth, and navigate losses.

The new, 96-page magazine hit newsstands, Amazon, and Magazines.com on Dec. 15, and can be a useful resource whether you’re just starting your investing journey, or are looking for a refresher. While everyone’s investing game-plan should be different, applying Investopedia’s fundamentals can help support smart long-term strategies.

“Just like playing sports, learning an instrument, or getting better at your craft or profession, fundamentals are key,” said Caleb Silver, editor in chief of Investopedia. “The fundamentals of investing—like diversification, investing age-appropriately, and being tax-smart—are useful in every market and through all economic cycles. Even when circumstances have changed, fundamentals remain.”

In addition to our best practices for building wealth, Investopedia’s 10 Rules of Investing magazine covers:

  • Key investing terms to know when managing your portfolio
  • How to set investing goals to build a strategy
  • How to identify your risk tolerance, and how to balance your portfolio accordingly
  • How the economy impacts the stock market
  • Insights from our top financial advisors and planners
  • Tips for investing in popular assets like stocks, bonds, and ETFs
  • What to consider before diversifying with alternative investments like gold and cryptocurrency

Investopedia’s Retirement Guide magazine is now available on newsstands across the U.S. and Canada, as well as online via Amazon and Magazines.com for $14.99.

Apple News+ subscribers also have access to digital versions, released in two parts. Section one—The 10 Rules of Investing—is available on Dec. 15. Section two—Investing Playbook—will be released in early 2024.
